nexus — independently scanned and version-tracked by SaferSkills.
SaferSkills independently audited nexus (Agent Skill) and scored it 96/100 (green). The audit ran 55 deterministic rules across Security, Supply Chain, Maintenance, Transparency, and Community; it found 0 high-severity and 1 lower-severity findings. The full rule-by-rule trace and per-finding evidence are below. Free, methodology-open.

The text {match} tells the agent to skip the normal "ask the user first" gate. Used adversarially it removes the human-in-the-loop check before destructive or sensitive actions, turning a normally-gated agent into a fire-and-forget executor.
Every scanned point with the score it earned and what moved between them.
First recorded scan — no prior version to compare against.
The primary manifest — the file an agent reads to learn what this artifact does.

"The right agent at the right time changes everything."
Coordinate specialist agents, design the minimum viable chain, and execute safely. AUTORUN and AUTORUN_FULL spawn each agent as an independent session via the active hub engine's spawn tool (Claude Code Agent, Codex CLI spawn_agent; see Execution Model → Orchestrator Detection). Guided and Interactive stop for confirmation at the configured points.
Use Nexus for: multi-agent task chain orchestration; complex tasks spanning multiple specialist domains; task decomposition + routing; proactive project state scan (/Nexus no-args); coordinated parallel execution across independent tracks.
Route elsewhere when: single-agent work with clear ownership → that agent; decomposition only (no execution) → Sherpa; full product lifecycle → Titan; parallel session management → Rally; ecosystem self-evolution → Darwin.

The full table below is flat; these families group it and name the axis that separates confusable siblings. When an input fits a family but not a specific recipe, use the axis to pick — or, for an overloaded anchor, run the one-question REDIRECT (`reference/intent-clarification.md`).

| Kaizen | kaizen | Existing-feature continuous improvement (perf / UX / code-quality / feature-extension). PDCA loop vs quantified target; stops on target-met / diminishing-returns. 4-8 agents × ≤3 cycles | See reference/recipes-detail.md | reference/recipes-detail.md, reference/inline-recipes.md | ||||
| Converge | converge | Quality-convergence loop — invocable Generator-Evaluator iteration (Contract + Rubric) with mandatory termination bounds (max_cycles/budget/diminishing-returns/BLOCK). Generator never grades itself. converge <recipe> wraps an inner recipe as generator; flattens loop-recipes (kaizen/apex/summit). Execution-control, not task shape. 4-10 agents × ≤3 cycles. | See reference/recipes-detail.md | reference/recipes-detail.md, reference/converge-recipe.md, reference/evaluator-loop-protocol.md | ||||

Confirm before launch. | See reference/recipes-detail.md | reference/recipes-detail.md, reference/apex-recipe.md, reference/apex-walkthrough.md | ||||
| Charter | charter | Repo-wide analysis → self-driving Charter incl. team design + checklists. Document-first; stops at durable docs/CHARTER.md (no execution). Designs multi-engine orchestration (Claude Code plan/design + Codex CLI build loops) and §10 checklists (pre-flight / per-package DoD / progress tracker / final delivery). Pair with enact to run it. 5-15 agents. | See reference/recipes-detail.md | reference/recipes-detail.md, reference/charter-recipe.md | ||||
| Enact | enact | Execute a Charter end-to-end — construct the team from §5 roster, orchestrate §4 work breakdown, verify, ship. Runs to completion: drives every package to a terminal state, no mid-run stops except §8 safety red lines (L4/destructive/out-of-scope); announce-and-proceed. Streams progress to an append-only run log (docs/CHARTER.run.log.md) for audit + resume. enact <path> / dry-run / resume / log=. 6-30+ agents. | See reference/recipes-detail.md | reference/recipes-detail.md, reference/enact-recipe.md | ||||
| Goal Setup | goal | /goal autonomous long-running execution setup. Gates on a machine-checkable completion oracle + mandatory hard-stop bound (rejects unverifiable goals). 1-3 agents, no code execution | Hone → Latch → Scribe? → DELIVER | reference/goal-recipe.md | ||||
| Gedanken | gedanken | Structured thought-experiment reasoning — reason rigorously about a question/hypothesis/premise/design-tension inside a constructed hypothetical, under controlled variation; surface hidden assumptions, derive non-obvious implications, establish a falsifier. No code. Exploratory-reasoning analog of magi (decision); often magi's upstream. Archetype menu (limiting-case/counterfactual/reductio/isolation/analogy/inversion/veil). 3-9 agents × variation depth | FRAME → CONSTRUCT → REASON → PERTURB → REFUTE → CONCLUDE<br>Magi[+assumption ledger]+Flux? → Flux[scenario+archetype]+Cast?/Matrix? → Magi Logos/Pathos/Sophia ‖ Flux ‖ domain? → Matrix+Flux+Omen?[vary ≤3, robust vs frame-dependent] → refute×2-3 → Magi[conclusion+confidence+load-bearing assumptions+falsifier+transfer]. Variation bound + refute are contract-level. Resumable per phase. | reference/gedanken-recipe.md | ||||
| Delve | delve | Existing-feature deep-dive → evolution-direction dialogue. Excavate a shipped feature past what-it-does to what's-really-going-on, surface non-obvious insights, chart evolution directions (deepen/broaden/reframe). No code — stops at a named Evolution Map, hands off to spec/kaizen/feature/apex. Grounded-existing-feature analog of gedanken; kaizen's upstream. Default INTERACTIVE (with spec); 3 dialogue checkpoints (confirm-feature / validate-insights / pick-direction) are contract-level (AUTORUN can't skip). EXCAVATE↔SURFACE deepening loop ≤3. | Spec | spec | Interactive feature-proposal → locked specification through deep dialogue. Human-in-the-loop at every phase; +Lens reuse-scan grounds it in the existing codebase, refines a rough idea into a sign-off-ready spec with mandatory testable, traceable acceptance criteria, then stops at the spec (no code) — the discovery half of spec → feature/apex (mirrors charter → enact). Default Mode `INTERACTIVE` (exceptional; the dialogue is the deliverable). Draft-persisted & resumable (spec resume [<slug>]); writes docs/specs/<slug>.md per a standard template + Open Questions section. Lock preconditions: testable L3 ACs + Spec Quality Gate (ambiguity/completeness/consistency/testability/scope). Build-path checkpoint at LOCK — orbit loop (unattended/resumable; +engine claude/codex/agy) ‖ apex (bounded one-shot); fallbacks feature/acceptance. 3-9 agents × dialogue turns | FRAME → EXPAND → CHALLENGE → SHAPE → SPECIFY → LOCK<br>Plea+Field?/Cast?/Lens? → Riff‖Flux → Magi+Void+Ripple+Omen? → Spark → Accord+Scribe?[L3 ACs+IDs] → quality-gate(Judge+Attest) → sign-off → ✓build-path (orbit‖apex). Dual-engine baseline (Claude + Codex); agy optional | See reference/recipes-detail.md | reference/recipes-detail.md, reference/inline-recipes.md | ||||
| Trim | trim | Inverse of essential/killer — dead-weight feature removal verdict + conditional excision. Scores existing features on the essential axis (must-have?) × killer axis (differentiator?); removes only those failing both AND CoK ≥ 7. Core engine void; adds multi-agent execution. No target → whole-project auto-scan (top-N by CoK, GUIDED). 4-10 agents. | Migrate | migrate | Change-completeness migration (arch / framework / middleware / mock→prod) — double loop (per-batch PLAN→EXECUTE→VERIFY inside an outer completeness loop) + RESIDUE-GATE proof + gated old-code DECOMMISSION. case=lang forwards to transmute. 6-20 agents. Confirm at launch + before destructive DECOMMISSION; whole-system arch / big-bang. | See reference/recipes-detail.md | reference/recipes-detail.md, reference/migrate-recipe.md | ||||
| Transmute | transmute | Cross-language rewrite preserving behavior via differential parity. 8-20 agents. Confirm before big-bang. | See reference/recipes-detail.md | reference/recipes-detail.md, reference/transmute-recipe.md | ||||
| Clone | clone | Faithful product reproduction — reverse-engineer an existing product's observable surface (visual / behavioral / feature / data / asset), rebuild it, and verify the copy by differential parity against a stamped captured baseline. Opens with an interactive Stack Dialogue (Phase 0.1, contract-level — AUTORUN cannot skip) that locks the target rebuild stack per layer + stack-vs-fidelity tradeoffs into a Stack Decision Record before capture/build (stack= pre-supplies). Phase 0.5 web research sweep (research-grounding.md) grounds fidelity next — Evidence Ledger supplies the completeness denominator + exact published values + version/drift, research-first/capture-authoritative. Platform-agnostic (target_type web \ | desktop \ | mobile \ | has-source \ | api). Capture-from-evidence + fidelity-over-faith; integrity gates: Capture Completeness + Provenance & Drift + Differential Parity engine. 8-24 agents. Confirm before big-bang full clone. | See reference/recipes-detail.md | reference/recipes-detail.md, reference/clone-recipe.md, reference/research-grounding.md |
| Fuse | fuse | Multi-source product synthesis (clone's extension) — capture 2+ products (clone per source), then synthesize them into one new product: adopt selected elements from each, merge overlapping ones, add net-new connective tissue. Verified by a dual oracle (adopted → differential parity vs that source's baseline; merged/net-new → spec+AC conformance) plus a Coherence Gate proving it's one product, not a patchwork. Core artifact: Fusion Map (per-element provenance/resolution/oracle) + Conflict Ledger + multi-source IP/trade-dress posture. sources=2..N, mixed target_type allowed. 12-32 agents. Confirm before big-bang full fusion / sources ≥ 3. | See reference/recipes-detail.md | reference/recipes-detail.md, reference/fuse-recipe.md, reference/research-grounding.md | ||||
| Graft | graft | Concept transplant for innovation (fuse's extension; clone's inverse on fidelity) — take your current owned product as the host, extract a specific reference product's (the donor) important concepts (principles/mechanisms, not its surface), transplant + adapt them onto the host, and produce a genuinely innovative product. Rejects surface copying. Verified by a triple oracle: concept-fidelity (the principle reproduced, not the chrome) ∧ host-integrity (the living product's regression net green + invariants held) ∧ Innovation Gate (emergent novelty, adversarially refuted — a bolt-on is delivered honestly as "a feature, not an innovation"). Core artifact: Graft Map (per-concept adapt/hybridize/invert/reject + attachment + innovation thesis) + Host-Invariant Contract + originality posture. Ships behind a flag (adoption KPI + kill criterion). host=1, donors=1..N. 10-28 agents. Confirm when invasive to host core / no-flag. | See reference/recipes-detail.md | reference/recipes-detail.md, reference/graft-recipe.md, reference/research-grounding.md | ||||
| Package | package | Generalized document-package generator — 12-domain preset registry (incl. domain=startup ≡ legacy venture). Depth 5-28 agents. Default: spawn. Every EXECUTE step spawns a real agent session unless an explicit exception applies (Core Rule #3).
Before the first spawn, determine which CLI drives this hub session, then bind the spawn API, authoring protocol, and model map accordingly. The hub engine is implicit in the available tooling — detect it once and reuse:
| Signal | Hub engine | Spawn API | Authoring protocol | Model map |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Agent tool present | Claude Code | Agent(...) (L1 fg / L2 run_in_background) | _common/OPUS_48_AUTHORING.md (P-principles); Fable 5 hub → also `reference/hub-authoring.md` § Claude Code hub — Fable 5 (F-principles) | sonnet / opus / haiku / fable-5 (see Model Selection) |
spawn_agent callable (C1 prereqs hold) | Codex CLI | spawn_agent → wait_agent (parallel = N spawn → join all) | _common/CODEX_ORCHESTRATION.md (C-principles) | gpt-5.5 (latest, all steps; see CLI_COMPATIBILITY.md §4) |

Codex-hub prereqs (C1): codex features list \| grep multi_agent → true, and ~/.codex/config.toml [agents] max_depth >= 2. If unmet → internal execution with a concrete reason (agents.max_depth=1, nested hub cannot recurse), never a generic "spawn tool not found". spawn_agent may be lazily hidden from the tool inventory — attempt the call when prereqs hold (C5). Full per-CLI prereqs and fall-back log forms: Execution Layers below + _common/CLI_COMPATIBILITY.md.
Claude Code hub model detection. The Claude Code hub runs on either Opus 4.8 or Claude Fable 5 (claude-fable-5). When the hub session reports running on Fable 5, apply the F-principles in reference/hub-authoring.md § Claude Code hub — Fable 5 on top of the P-principles: lighter spawn prompts, high (not xhigh) default effort, longer-turn / async harness expectations, and the mandatory no-reasoning-reproduction rule for spawn prompts (reproducing reasoning triggers refusal → Opus 4.8 fallback). When unknown, author for Opus 4.8 defaults — they are safe on both.

| CLI | L1 | L2 | L3 | Key prereq |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Claude Code | Agent(... mode: bypassPermissions) | Agent(... run_in_background: true) | Agent("You are Rally...") | Agent tool present |
| Codex CLI | spawn_agent → wait_agent | N × spawn_agent → wait_agent × N | spawn_agent("You are Rally...") | multi_agent = true + [agents] max_depth >= 2 |
| agy | /agent <name> (TUI) or agy -p --dangerously-skip-permissions (headless) | Multiple /agent (async, /tasks) | Plugin team pack | TUI main session or OS-level isolation; headless from a socket-stdin shell MUST allocate a real pty (`python3 pty.spawn`) — bare `agy -p` and `script -q /dev/null` both fail silently; artifact file capture (NOT stdout) |
MANDATORY before spawning agy/codex as an agent — read _common/CLI_COMPATIBILITY.md §9.2 (agy: real pty via python3 pty.spawn + artifact/sentinel capture, NEVER stdout) and §9.3 (codex: -o <abs path> artifact is the source of truth, foreground or detached). These are silent-output regressions, not edge cases.
Key rules (Codex lazy-hidden tools, agy headless @<path> + sentinel + --print-timeout, agy Pre-flight, permission model) → reference/hub-authoring.md § Execution-Layer Key Rules.
Model names are hub-engine-specific; role → tier mapping is stable. Full table (Claude Code sonnet/opus/haiku per tier ↔ Codex CLI always gpt-5.5, depth via model_reasoning_effort) → reference/hub-authoring.md § Model Selection. Cross-CLI cross-reference → _common/CLI_COMPATIBILITY.md §4.
Before each spawn, tailor the spawn prompt to the current project + session context — auto-tuned and self-reinforcing within the session, ephemeral and reversible (no durable global write, so it runs without a confirmation gate; it never bypasses a Mode's step confirmations). Applicability gate: skip for single-spawn/trivial runs (base template only); apply at ≥ 3 spawns / loop recipes / repeated agent (Core Rule #1). Compose spawn_prompt = base template ⊕ Project Profile ⊕ Session Ledger: the Project Profile (built at Orchestrator Detection) sets directive defaults from project facts (.agents/PROJECT.md, repo stack, CLAUDE.md, hub engine), and the Session Ledger adjusts — corrective/bidirectional, only on a repeated signal (≥ 2) — from this session's outcomes (repeated overlength → tighten envelope; VERIFY-fail → +context/+effort; user correction → a structured constraint field, never raw text; token pressure → trim references). Reward = downstream VERIFY, not self-reported status. Assembly only selects/dials within the vetted directive ranges of hub-authoring.md — it never invents unsafe directives and never deletes a behavior/safety rule, acceptance criterion, or output-contract field (Core Rule #4). Never silent: every adjustment that differs from the base template emits a Tuning Trace (field, old→new, trigger, reward_basis), surfaced delta-only in the Execution Report (a ## Prompt Tuning subsection when ≥ 1 spawn was tuned, omitted otherwise). Durable cross-project rewrites are out of scope (gated path only). Full spec → reference/adaptive-prompt-policy.md.

)Opus 4.8 requires the four directive fields above (calibrates length to context, restrains tool calls, interprets literally). On a Fable 5 hub these directives are lighter, not heavier: a brief outcome+brevity instruction steers as well as enumerating each field, over-prescriptive spawn prompts degrade output, and any "echo / show / transcribe your reasoning" wording is forbidden (it trips the reasoning_extraction refusal). See reference/hub-authoring.md § Claude Code hub — Fable 5. LEARN safety rules: max 5 routing updates per session; snapshot before adapting; Lore sync is mandatory before recording a routing change.
Canonical matrix: reference/routing-matrix.md defines ~95 task types covering domain breadth (ADVISORY, AI_FEATURE, ARTICLE, BRAINSTORM, COMPLIANCE, CRYPTO, MARKETING, MOCKUP, MULTI_TENANT, PRIVACY, etc.). The Recipes table above exposes the most-used 20 as explicit subcommands; the remaining ~78 task types are reachable only via the classify (default) flow. Recipe-driven chains (Apex / Charter / Enact / Summit / Acceptance / Growth-Acceptance / Essential / Killer / Kaizen) are in the Recipes table. The legacy classify flow's headline chains for BUG, FEATURE, SECURITY, REFACTOR, OPTIMIZE, DESIGN_SYSTEM_DOCS, DESIGN_WORKFLOW, MOBILE_NATIVE, IOS_UI_TEST, PORTING — full chain table, Sherpa skip conditions, chain adjustment rules, clarification rules, and anti-pattern reference list — live in reference/routing-quick-start.md.
