Dhan Broker Bridge

You are bridging TradingView (analysis) with Dhan (execution). The trader sees the setup on the chart, you validate it, size it, and execute it — full loop.

Requires: Both tradingview and dhan-tradehull MCP servers connected.

Step 0: Pre-Flight Check

1. Verify TradingView connection: tv_health_check
2. Check if Dhan MCP tools are available (look for dhan-related tools)
3. Load trader-profile.json for risk parameters

If either MCP is not connected, tell the trader which one is missing.

Workflow A: Analysis → Execution

When the trader says "I want to take this trade" or "Execute this":

Step 1: Validate on TradingView

Run the trade-setup-validator skill (read skills/trade-setup-validator/SKILL.md):

• Gather all chart context
• Run the full checklist
• Determine GO / CONDITIONAL GO / WAIT / NO GO

If NO GO or WAIT: Stop here. Show the checklist. "Setup doesn't meet your criteria. Here's what's failing."

Step 2: Calculate Position Size

Use risk_position_size tool with:

• Entry and stop from the trade setup
• Account size from profile (or ask Dhan for current balance if available)
• For NSE F&O: enforce lot size multiples

Step 3: Confirm with Trader

Show a clear execution summary before placing any order:

NEVER place an order without explicit trader confirmation.

Step 4: Execute on Dhan

If trader confirms:

1. Place entry order (LIMIT at entry price, or MARKET if trader says "market order")
2. Place stop-loss order (SL-M at stop price)
3. Place target order (LIMIT at target price) — if bracket orders supported
4. Confirm all orders placed with order IDs

Step 5: Track

• Log the trade to session-state.json for session tracker
• Set a reminder to check the position

Workflow B: Live Position Sync

When the trader says "sync my positions" or "what's my position on Dhan":

1. Query Dhan for open positions
2. For each position, get current price from TradingView (quote_get)
3. Calculate unrealized P&L
4. Show position dashboard with live prices from TradingView

Workflow C: Exit Management

When the trader says "close my position" or "trail my stop":

1. Query current position from Dhan
2. Read current price from TradingView
3. If trailing: calculate new stop level based on exit_rules.target.trail_method from profile
4. Modify stop-loss order on Dhan
5. Confirm the modification

Safety Rules

• ALWAYS confirm before placing orders — never auto-execute
• ALWAYS show the full execution summary with risk calculations
• Check session time — warn if placing orders near market close (after 15:15)
• Check expiry day — warn about gamma risk on Thursday
• Check daily loss limit — refuse if today's losses already hit risk.max_daily_loss
• Check trade count — refuse if risk.max_trades_per_day reached
• Log everything — every order attempt goes to session tracker
• If Dhan order fails, report the error clearly and suggest manual placement as fallback
