Ductwork runs AI agents that can execute shell commands, read/write files, and create new tasks. You define tasks as JSON, and ductwork handles scheduling, execution, retries, security, and history.

Skills are files (markdown, text, etc.) that get pre-loaded into the agent's system prompt before execution. This avoids wasting API calls on file discovery.
